The ticket line (wraps around to the left) |
Didn't feel like waiting in such a long line just to buy entry tickets, and then have to elbow our way past all the people in order to even see any exhibits or do any of the kid-friendly activities, sot this was about as close as we got to any of the Pixar displays. Seemed like about half the city was there. (Don't get me started on the subway, it was as full today as I have ever seen it - packed!) So we had to take The Small One away from there, quite unhappily I might add, for unlike the fine weather that accommodated our day of exploration after the zoo didn't pan out, today it was raining and cold (yes, I said it - Kaohsiung, cold! - really only after you got wet and the wind blew on you, though - temps actually around 60 degrees Fahrenheit), negating the possibility of any extemporaneous improvisation to assuage the deteriorated situation.
We have plans to go to a few more places this week, taking advantage of the last week I have before my second semester classes start, but I hope that we have better luck in actually making it into our intended destinations - so far our success level is far below the Mendoza Line.
